Ang sinasabing "UN Visa" ay isang "conditional release visa" na ang ibig sabihin ay hindi pwedeng pauwiin ang may hawak nito dahil pino-proseso pa ang aplikasyon niya bilang refugee.

Ang pagkakaroon ng "conditional release visa" ay hindi garantiya na ang isang tao ay pwede nang manatili sa Israel. Ang papel na ito ay may bisa lamang na tatlong (3) buwan.

Lahat ng aplikasyon para makakuha ng "refugee status" ay dumadaan sa Ministry of Interior ng Israel. Ang Gobyerno ng Israel ang nagdedesisyon kung sino ang bibigyan ng "refugee status." Hindi ito hawak ng opisina ng United Nations sa Israel.

Sa ngayon, wala pang Pilipino na nabigyan ng "refugee status."

What is known as a "UN Visa" is actually a "conditional release visa" which prevents the bearer from being deported while their application for refugee status is being processed.

Having a "conditional release visa" is not a guarantee that the bearer may stay in Israel indefinitely. This paper is only valid for three (3) months.

All applications for refugee status are processed by Israel's Ministry of Interior. Only the Government of the State of Israel may grant refugee status. The United Nations office in Israel no longer handles these applications.

At present, no Filipino has been granted refugee status.
