BUREAU OF IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS
FOR VISA-UPON-ARRIVAL FACILITIES FOR
CHINESE NATIONALS ARRIVING TO THE
PHILIPPINES AS PART OF TOUR GROUPS OR
INDIVIDUALS HANDLED BY GROUP OPERATORS

 

 
 

The Bureau of Immigration has issued new guidelines regarding Chinese tourists going to the Philippines who want to avail of visa-upon-arrival facilities.

Under the arrangement, a 9(a) visa would be issued for a maximum stay of fourteen (14) days. The DOT-accredited Philippine tour operator or travel agency must submit the following to Bureau of Immigration officials:

1. Duly notarized letter request filed by the Tour Operator/Travel Agent.

2. Affidavit of Support and Guarantee/Undertaking (as stated in Section 2b of RADJR-2012-002) with the additional statement that the tour group member shall stay in the Philippines for a minimum period of twenty-four (24) hours.

3. Names and dates of birth of each tour group member.

4. Confirmed hotel booking for at least twenty-four (24) hours.
