The Philippine Embassy in Tel Aviv wishes to inform the Filipino community in Israel that the Philippine Senate has denied any partnership with the Digital Currency Co., Ltd. (DCC) on the release of the virtual currency called “Philippine Global Coin” (PGC). DCC is marketing PGCs as an initiative of the Philippine Government to entice OFWs in particular as investors.

The Senate wholly denies the existence of this supposed partnership with DCC and firmly denounces any and all claims of Senate participation in such venture, as claimed by DCC in its announcements and blog posts.

The Embassy strongly advises the Filipino community to be careful and vigilant before entering into ventures that will involve investing their hard-earned money.
