Israel hosted the 13th Round of the Philippines Israel Joint Commission Meeting (JCM), held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) in Jerusalem on 24-25 November 2024. Assistant Secretary Mardomel Celo D. Melicor of the Office of Middle East and African Affairs led the Philippine delegation, while Deputy Director-General Aviv Ezra of the Israeli MFA headed the Israeli side.
Both sides engaged in open and frank discussions on ways to further strengthen Philippines-Israel bilateral cooperation across various areas, including defense, trade and economic cooperation, agriculture, labor, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges.
