On 25 November 2024, officials from the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), led by Assistant Secretary Mario Perpetuo Socorro T. Zinampan, met with representatives from Israel’s Population and Immigration Authority (PIBA) and from the Consular Affairs Division of the Israeli Foreign Ministry, headed by Deputy Director-General Eliyahu Yifrach. The meeting took place at the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem.

On the Embassy’s recommendation, the DMW delegation visited Israel to conduct a comprehensive security and market assessment.
