22 February 2024, Tel Aviv - The Philippine Embassy in Israel and PTIC Tel Aviv organized a business roundtable to present opportunities and benefits for Israeli firms in the Philippines' business process outsourcing (BPO) sector.  

The event featured a presentation by Mr. Yoray Ofek, President of the Israel Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ICCP) and head of a Manila-based BPO firm. Seven Israeli firms and organizations participated in the roundtable.  

In his remarks, Ambassador Pedro Laylo, Jr. emphasized that Philippine BPO firms are ready to provide solutions to Israeli companies facing acute workforce shortages due to the war. They can also help Israeli companies in upgrading their business processes and in improving customer experience.  

The Philippine BPO sector has grown significantly and has become the world's outsourcing hub, mainly due to its skilled and experienced BPO professionals, high degree of English proficiency, and cost-effective solutions. END
