Mr. Jeraisi expressed optimism that there is potential to increase exports to Israel to US$5 million next year. Philippine pineapple juice products are now sold in many Israeli supermarkets.
“With the entry of S&W pineapple juice in the mainstream Israeli market, a well-known international brand of quality juices especially in the United States, high quality Philippine food products are now gaining popularity among Israeli importers and consumers,” according to Ambassador Neal Imperial.
Recently, Israeli importers are also becoming interested in other agricultural products from the Philippines such as fresh and dried fruits. According to Mr. Amjah, S&W will soon launch its dried pineapple product and will definitely explore Israel as one of its priority markets. – END –
