17 March 2014 Tel Aviv, State of Israel. OFWs based in Haifa and other areas in northern Israel flocked to the city's St. Joseph Latin Parish to avail themselves of various consular services during the outreach mission conducted by the Philippine Embassy on 15 March 2014, from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Led by Vice Consul Bryan Jess T. Baguio, the consular team offered services such as passport processing and releasing, notarials (special power of attorney, affidavit and certification), voluntary registration and issuance of Embassy ID, OWWA membership contribution and overseas employment certificate. An estimated 120 OFWs availed themselves of the consular services.
The Philippine Embassy conducts consular outreach missions in various parts of Israel in line with its objective of making its services more accessible to Filipino workers. -- END --
