18 April 2018, Tel Aviv – The Philippines was featured in an article published in NOFASHIM Magazine, a tourism, culture and leisure magazine available for free to the public. The article was written by Mr. Yaakov Maor who was a speechwriter under the Office of the Prime Minister before his retirement.

“The availability of the magazine to the general public is a good opportunity for more Israelis to know more about the “Open Door” policy of President Manuel L. Quezon which saved 1,300 Jews from the horrors of the Holocaust. The article also featured major tourist destinations in the Philippines like Palawan and Bohol,” says Philippine Ambassador to the State of Israel Neal Imperial.– END-
