15 December 2021 - Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez called on Philippine Ambassador Macairog S. Alberto on 14 December, prior to her departure for Manila. Ms. Gomez finished among the top 5 finalists in the recently concluded Miss Universe pageant in the city of Eilat, Israel.
Following her call on the Ambassador, Ms. Gomez visited the consular waiting area to greet Filipinos who had come to the Embassy for consular services. Filipinos, eager to take photos with Ms. Gomez, took the opportunity to express their congratulations to her in person, and share their pride over her outstanding performance.
In her message in the Embassy’s guest book, she wrote, “I wish to thank the Filipino community in Israel for their support that gave me strength to do my best and finish the competition with grace”. --- END
