11 October 2021 – As part of its final push to reach more Filipinos in Israel during the extended overseas voter registration period, the Embassy team visited nursing homes in different cities in Israel to provide Overseas Voters’ Registration and renewal of POLO assistance, OWWA and SSS memberships.
Philippine Ambassador to Israel Macairog lauded Filipinos in Israel for their enthusiasm to exercise their right to vote, and cited the Embassy’s mobile team for their hard work. “Thanks to the tireless efforts of our mobile team, over 1,300 Filipinos all over Israel were able to register as overseas voters between June to September alone,” the envoy declared.
The Embassy’s mobile team is set to visit Beersheva and Eilat on 12 and 13 October 2021, respectively, to provide Overseas Voting Registration services. The schedule and venue of the mobile services are posted on the Embassy’s Official Facebook account. -END-
